Momentum is the funding vehicle for the private sector partnership with the City of Round Rock that promotes economic development. In 2004 the City of Round Rock and the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce agreed to a partnership that is funded by both public and private dollars. Momentum investors consist of business and private investors who want to take part and make a difference in the growth of Round Rock. Momentum events are held quarterly, and are open to Momentum investors only. The Economic Development Partnership keeps the Momentum membership well informed of the value of their investment through a newsletter, quarterly reports and quarterly luncheons. 

Momentum plays a key role in driving the economic development, business attraction, and business retention and expansion in Round Rock.
